Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund Expanding Camperships into the State of Florida

The Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund (www.sjbmf.org) is thrilled to announce we are expanding our camperships into the State of Florida.

Beginning in the summer of 2023, the Fund will provide grants to send at-risk, underserved children from the State of Florida to summer sleep-away camp. This is a direct result of the generosity of our partners, donors and supporters.

In 2022, the Fund gave out grants totaling $283,600sending 212 children to summer sleep-away camps in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Since its establishment in 2018, shortly after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida, the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund was established to continue Scott’s legacy by nurturing, protecting, and educating children, starting them on a positive path and giving them hope.

Enabling at-risk underserved children to experience the joys and wonders of summer sleep-away camp is life changing. It costs $1,500.00 to send one child to summer sleep-away camp for 2 weeks and the children can participate in activities that they have only dreamed of.

Thank you for your continued support of the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund. To help us continue our mission, please consider donating at www.SJBMF.ORG.
