The Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund has received a $3,000 WE CARE grant from the Nassau Bar Foundation, Inc. to help fund summer sleep-away camp experiences for at-risk youth.

Approved by the WE CARE Fund’s Advisory Committee, the grant supports the Memorial Fund’s mission to send at-risk, underserved children touched by gun violence to summer sleep-away camp. These experiences give children opportunities to build friendships, gain confidence, and enjoy a supportive environment where they can learn and grow.

The $3,000 award will help offset camp costs, supporting the Fund’s efforts to make these meaningful experiences accessible to children who need them.

The Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund extends its sincere gratitude to the Nassau Bar Foundation, Inc., the WE CARE Fund, and its Advisory Committee for their generosity and commitment to helping children. This support reflects a shared dedication to improving lives and creating opportunities for young people.

The WE CARE Fund is committed to assisting underprivileged individuals and others less fortunate in the community. Through grants to organizations such as the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund, it helps support programs that address community needs.
