On Monday, Linda Beigel Schulman and Michael Schulman, along with almost 2000 invited guests, were seated on the South Lawn of the White House as President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris spoke about the Bi-Partisan Safer Communities Act which President Biden had previously signed.

As Linda has said many times over, this legislation is not the beginning of the end of our quest for reasonable Federal Gun Safety Legislation, but only the end of the beginning. We must continue to work together to end the epidemic of gun violence plaguing our country.

We must keep our voices heard loud and clear as we know more bi-partisan cooperation is necessary to enact an assault weapon ban, limiting magazine size and so much more.

Even though it is only the first step, this legislation will save lives.
